I was contracted with Blinkmoon Games as their Senior Game Designer, with a focus on Systems and Features. 
I created, designed, and implemented:
• All elements of the game external to the core gameplay loop (incl. level progression, assignments, missions, gameplay upgrades, and character dialogue). Game elements were all built and designed from scratch.


This was our specialized "assignment" system that picked from a large-pool of assignments to determine your engagement challenges. In addition, I also integrated a "Chapter" storyline-based gameplay system that rewarded players with high-level upgrades to allow players to add variance into their gameplay.
I created a "Library" tool in which players could earn specialized Textbooks that were redeemable for in-game currency. The in-game currency would then be used for specialized character "progression" - which established a gameplay pattern in which players could pick and choose their favorite characters and earn meaningful progression.
This showcases our "Global Upgrades" system which allows for players to upgrade their character's holistically through our "Scrolls" currency system. In-game, scrolls would drop from monsters on a randomized cadence, allowing for players to unlock major improvements to their gameplay overtime.
